The inspiration for this work is the Realism movement, which seeks to portray the honest and often intense realities of nature. As such, I aimed to represent a mother bird defending her nest against a predator, communicating a high-stakes moment of survival. In this composition, the confrontation represents the incredible strength and selflessness of parental instincts. This drawing captures a scene of immense bravery, inviting the viewer to appreciate the profound courage found in the animal kingdom.
