Her painting Prairie Schooner was selected as a finalist in the June 2026 Salon Art Prize (formerly the PleinAir Salon competition), an international competition recognizing exceptional contemporary artists. In addition, her painting So Good earned Third Place in the prestigious Copley Society of Art National Exhibition, adding another impressive accolade to her growing list of accomplishments.
Whether capturing the quiet nostalgia of a prairie wagon or the playful confidence of a fox looking back over its shoulder, Debra’s work demonstrates exceptional technical skill, thoughtful composition, and a unique ability to tell compelling visual stories.
