Inspirations: M.Dilshan

The Silent Poem of the Body shares several common threads with the Neoclassical movement, emphasizing the rhythmic and harmonious proportions of the human form. In this work, M. Dilshan used the female body as a visual poem, focusing on the way softness and fluid shapes interact to create a natural tempo.

The figure represents the idea of beauty. By referencing the artistic tradition of using light and shadow to define elegant contours, I aim to show the cadence of a verse through the physical body. The gentle curves and the transition of light across the skin serve as a concrete link to the lyrical nature of existence. This drawing captures a quiet moment of grace.
